Saturday is organized as Funday for students of primary section and a number of programmes are conducted in Kendriya Vidyalayas. Saturday is a day packed with fun and recreational activities.

Anandvar Diwas in KVS
Anandvar Diwas is a designated day celebrated in KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan) schools for students from classes one to five. On this day, students are not required to bring their books from home and engage in various games and activities within the school premises. Children can bring their lunch with them. This practice was implemented in 2018 following a directive issued by KVS.
